Through this page, a version of the browser is made available for free use.

The WWAAC WebBrowser is available for download. Download the setup file for your prefered language and run it. A number of icons will be created in your Start menu.

• Windows 98/ME/NT4/2000/XP
• Internet Explorer version 6.0 or up
• SAPI 4 speech synthesizer (see below)
• Screen resolution 800x600 or more
• Symbol For Windows 2.1 or up
• Softlok driver (Download, unzip and run sl2inst.exe)
• WinZip

Limitations:

• IE 5.0 could work too, but is highly unstable. But if you want to use Favourites, you will need Internet Explorer 6.0 or up
• SAPI 5 will not be supported
• Symbol for Windows is needed for:
  • Dongle driver
  • Symbol demo

Text-to-Speech quickstart:

• Install a SAPI 4 speech synthesizer (download below)
• Windows XP users only: install the SAPI 4 patch (download below)
• Install and launch the browser
• Hit Alt + F1 to open a settings dialog
• Click the 'Speech support' button
• Click the 'Settings' button to adjust the voices
